Compass South offers professional appraisal evaluations, land acquisition consulting and general brokerage focusing on timberlands, farms and recreational properties. Our expertise and experience has been accumulated and combined over the past thirty years in an effort to provide services to clientele in an ever changing market. Our experience began in the timber industry; managing timberlands for a variety of land owners ranging from private landowners, Timber Investment Management Organizations, investors and institutional landowners. This experience inevitably led us to the real estate business. Our experience and key relationships in the marketplace allowed us to manage the acquisition and disposition of about 200,000 acres of land in the south east. Today our goal is to use this expertise as registered foresters, brokers, consultants and certified appraisers to make Compass South a leading resource for large and small investors interested in acquisition, disposition or appraisal of timberland, recreational and investment properties.
